Alive? And well! [16 Sep 2008|10:54am]
[ mood | awake ]

I'm a freaking home-owner in New York.

Co-owner that is.

My sister and I are on a 30 year mortgage for a sweet ass multi-family brick home in Green Island.

I had to come back to NY. It's some sick love that I have for the scenery up here.

It's amazing. I have a place without any authority figures for once in my life.

And my band is taking off like crazy. We're totally going to be the next big thing.

Locally atleast.

Well, I'm out.

Don't know why I updated this thing, I really don't think anyone uses these anymore.

Just writing things.

Well, later.

I don't know why but I'm updating this thing. I think it's because I hate Xanga, it's got too many of those annoying trendy kids on it. Anyways, I just bought the new White Stripes CD last night. It's really cool, very different from anything I was expecting, but I dig it nonetheless.

This summer vacation thing blows so far. I mean, I've been out of school for atleast 3 weeks or something now, and I haven't done anything at all. It's just been work and the ocasional trip out to get something to eat. It's kind of depressing.

Oh well! I'll be in New York again soon, and that's all that matters to me. I think it'll be real fun. Way more fun than last summer, 'cause I had to rely on other people to drive me around. And that's not how I roll. I've got my neon this time, sportin' 12" subs and a spinner straight outta compton. God I can't wait to get back home. It's so much better than Tennessee. Like, you don't even know.

Oh well, I'm out. Gotta head up to the mall and get minutes for my phone, and also stop by the pet store and look at the ferrets :) I'm getting one and naming him Jetpack 2. I just have to figure out which one he'll be. That's all when Lisa's here though. I'm taking her back down here with me on my way back home this summer. Can't wait.

As I've said before, I'm out.

not to make another journal entry about what i hate, but you know those people who do things just to get attention? like, pretend to be depressed, hate the world, and just random things that just shout "give me attention i have a low self esteem!"

yeah, i hate those people. like, an outrageous amount.

my dad was pulling the rv out of our driveway one day, and i said jokingly: "hey dad why don't you let me do that, you can't drive and you know it!"

"haha, yeah right, i've been driving for 40 years!" my dad replied, laughing.

this xmas coming. [18 Dec 2004|08:04pm]
[ mood | giddy ]

dead serious, it's gonna rock.

my sisters coming down from New York to spend a little time with me and dad before xmas, then its gonna be me and her road-trippin' it up to good ole' NY. with a few stops along the way...

like one in pottsville, where the playa's roll. or atleast justin does.

then from there it's onto new york, old friends, sleeping in my car, reminiscing, and loving every minute of it.

[this was meant to be posted like, a while ago. but im the worst procrastinator ever. infact my sister has been here for a while, and im just remembering to post this.]

alright, im onto a topic that could *GASP* get me arrested.

how many of you still download music illegally despite the fear that your ip address will be caught and you will be put in jail FOREVER and fined so much that your kids can never go to college!

well i do, proud to say it too. and apparently alot of people have stopped downloading music altogether, or have moved onto itunes/musicmatch/or even walmarts downloading program.

is it only me, or do you download more songs than you wouldve ever bought cd's of, if you'd never started downloading music. for me, this holds true. when i was still unaware of P2P downloading programs like KaZaA/bearshare/limewire/napster/etc i bought cd's only when i knew i would like the music i was buying, infact i still buy the same amount of cd's as i did then. in my eyes i think p2p programs are more like a way to see if you like music. im sure this isnt true for all of us, but if im a fan of a band i'll still go out and buy their cd's. because there's just something you dont get out of downloading music than you do if you own the music in cd form. having a cd is just like, pure music.

but anyways. who's still downloading music illegally? and furthermore, does it make you feel badass? didnt think so. just checking though.

well i dont think anyone reads my livejournal anymore, but this goes out to the few that do, and that probably means, adam.

if you know me very well, or if you've seen my computer desk in all its glory (in other words, i didnt clean it up before you got to my house...if you've been to my house) you'll surely notice that i, on an average day, have soda cans covering practically all area's of my desk. this is caused by me drinking caffeine free pepsi like i need it to live. i think i down a can in about a minute, then i need more. eh. i guess its healthier than krispy kreme donuts.

but alas, at the ripe old age of 16, my soda drinking habits have affected my health. my dental health atleast. it seems that with the excessive amounts of sugar that comes with soda, my teeth (well tooth really, just the lower front one, on the left) have become extra sensitive. and sensitive is usually a good thing, except when it comes to teeth. so i cant bite down on it directly i get a shooting pain through my tooth (which if you are like me, when you find something that hurts, you just cant stop doing it out of curiosity).

so i have done the unthinkable. i've cut my soda intake to 1 can a day. although today i woke up about a half hour ago and i've had double my set limit of soda.

it is a sad thing that this affects me so much that i make an entry for it.

bye nancy.

have you ever not been able to take someone seriously just because they were unbelievably old?

you just smile, nod, laugh a bit, and try not to make it obvious that you're staring at the excess skin hanging under their chin.

this is not a good situation if you're trying to get something out of the conversation, cause you never remember what they said.

or atleast i dont.

i didnt mean any offense to the elderly. just that i cant take them seriously.

last night i had the most perfect moment i've ever experienced.

it was dusk, and like 70 degrees out so it was very comfortable, and i had my headphones on listening to bob dylan. i was out on my balcony leaning back on this chair with my legs up on the railing watching the sun go down. and it was unbelievably peaceful.

so all, tonight go out and watch the sunset. bring someone you love if you want, too.
